<br />JAH:djm '1/28/89 (113/#25) <br /> <br />DEe 0 4 1989 <br /> <br />ORIGfNAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 1 .. l\ "1 <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RULING ON WRITTEN AND ORAL OBJECTIONS <br />AND ADOPTING WRITTEN FINDINGS IN RESPONSE TO <br />WRITTEN OBJECTIONS RECEIVED FROM AFFECTED PROPERTY <br />OWNERS AND TAXING ENTITIES AND OVERRULING SUCH <br />WRITTEN OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED SECOND AMENDMENT <br />TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />PROJECT NO. 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for <br /> <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 (the "Second Amendment") has been <br /> <br />prepared by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />which would add area to the existing Project Area (the "Amendment <br /> <br />Area"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 20, 1989, a duly noticed joint public <br /> <br />hearing on the proposed Second Amendment was conducted by the <br /> <br />City Council and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, any and all persons having any objections to the <br />proposed Second Amendment or who deny the existence of blight in <br /> <br />the Amendment Area, or the regularity of the prior proceedings, <br /> <br />were given an opportunity to submit written comments prior to the <br /> <br />commencement of and during the joint public hearing, or to give <br /> <br />oral testimony at the joint public hearing, and show cause why <br /> <br />the proposed Second Amendment should not be adopted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written objections were received from affected <br /> <br />property owners and taxing entities and the City Council directed <br /> <br />Agency staff to respond in writing to such written objections in <br /> <br />detail, giving reasons for not accepting specified objections and <br /> <br />suggestions; and the City Council has reviewed such written <br />
