Any interested person may appeal the Community Development Director's <br /> determinations to the City Manager by filing a written appeal within fifteen (15) days of <br /> the date of the notice of decision which appeal shall be filed, processed and heard in <br /> accordance with the provisions on appeal in Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> 33A.51. - PERMIT FEES: <br /> A. Except as otherwise provided by this Chapter or any other applicable law, rule or <br /> regulation, or by the terms of a permit, license, lease or contract which has been <br /> specifically authorized by the City Council, the permit application fees and other <br /> additional fees and charges for use of Courthouse Square pursuant to this <br /> Chapter shall be established by the City Councii by resolution. <br /> B. Any indigent natural person, or organization in which a majority of inembers meet <br /> the criteria for indigent status, who cannot apply for a permit because of an <br /> inability arising from such indigence to pay the application fee shall not be <br /> required to pay the application or permit fee. Application for indigent status shall <br /> be made at the time of permit application and shall be accompanied by such <br /> relevant information and documentation as may, in the opinion of the City <br /> Manager or his or her designee, be reasonably necessary to verify such status. <br /> For purposes of this Section, "indigent natural person" includes, but is not limited <br /> to, a person eligible for county relief and support as an indigent person under <br /> Section 17000 et seq. of the California Welfare and Institutions Code or as these <br /> sections are amended from time to time. <br /> Section 33. Section 35.8 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations by the Parks and Recreation Director for tree removal permits is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> 35.8. - DISAPPROVAL OF APPLICATION; APPEALS: <br /> Any person aggrieved by the action of the Parks and Recreation Director shall have the <br /> right of appeal to the City Manager. Such appeal shall be filed, processed and heard in <br /> accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> Section 34. Section 39.9 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations regarding abandoned vehicles is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 39.9. - APPEALS: <br /> Any interested person may appeal the order of the hearing officer to the City Manager by <br /> filing a written notice of appeal with City within fifteen days of the date of the notice of <br /> decision. Such appeal shall be filed, processed and heard in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Chapter 1 of this Municipai Code. <br /> Upon or after eleven (11) days following the adoption of the order requiring the removal <br /> of the vehicle or parts thereof if no hearing is requested, or fifteen (15) days from the <br /> date of mailing of notice of the order if a hearing is held, or fifteen (15) days after the <br /> date of the notice of determination on appeal authorizing removal, the vehicle or parts <br /> thereof may be disposed of by removal to a scrap yard or automobile dismantler's yard. <br /> After a vehicle has been removed, it shall not thereafter be reconstructed or made <br /> operable. <br /> Section 35. Section 40.11 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations regarding historical buildings is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> ATTY/ORD.362lAMENDING MUNI CODE APPEAL <br /> REV: 12/13/11 <br /> Page 16 of 17 <br />
