ORDINANCE NO. 2383 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING SECTION 38.5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND FEES THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 38.5 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: Sec. 38.5. WATER SERVICE CHARGE: In addition to all other charges and fees applicable to users of water from the water system owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, as established by the Water Rules and Regulations of the Department of Public Works Services, as amended

05/21 /2012 <br /> after the effective date hereinafter specified, are hereby established as <br /> follows: <br /> Meter Sizes Water Service Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 <br /> Effective Date: 07/01 /10 <br /> 1" $ 16.00 <br /> 2" 32.00 <br /> 3" 48.00 <br /> 4" 64.00 <br /> 6" 96.00 <br /> 8" 128.00 <br /> 10" 160.00 <br /> 12" 192.00 <br /> (e) Water Service Areas. For the purpose of this section, the following water <br /> service areas are established, and all premises served by the water <br /> system owned and operated by the City of Redwood City shall be located <br /> in such areas: <br /> (1) Area 1: All premises located within the City of Redwood City and not <br /> located within Areas 3, 5, or 6 shall be included in Area 1. <br /> (2) Area 2: All premises located outside the City of Redwood City and not <br /> located within Areas 4, 5, or 6 shall be included in Area 2. <br /> (3) Area 3: All premises located within Redwood General Improvement <br /> District No. 1-64, a general improvement district duly organized and <br /> existing under the Redwood City General Improvement District Ordinance <br /> (being Ordinance No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all <br /> territory annexed to said district shall be included in Area 3. <br /> (4) Area 4: All premises located outside the City of Redwood City and <br /> requiring extra pumping service to provide water service thereto shall be <br /> included in Area 4. <br /> (5) Area 5: All premises located within or outside the City of Redwood City <br /> which were formerly included in the service area for any water company or <br /> system acquired in bulk by the City shall be included in Area 5. <br /> (6) Area 6: All premises located within or outside the City of Redwood City on <br /> publicly-owned property and used as a college campus shall be included <br /> in Area 6. <br /> (� Monthly Water Quantity Rates.
