03/11/2013 ORIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 2392 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADDING SECTION 2.37 TO CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IV, TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY MUNICPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH AN ENTERPRISE FUND FOR THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE DOCKTOWN MARINA WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 15247, adopted February 25, 2013, the City of Redwood City, hereinafter called "City," assumed responsibility for the operations and maintenance of the Docktown Marina; and, WHEREAS, the expenses of funds from slip rental and other sources are necessary for the ongoing maintenance and operations of this City-owned facility; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that an enterprise fund be established for the deposit of said funds and for the accounting thereof; NOW, THEREFORE; THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The above constitute the Council's findings, which are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. Section 2. Section 2.37 is hereby added to Chapter 2 ADMINISTRATION, Article IV FUNDS as follows: Section 2.37. DOCKTOWN MARINA MANAGEMENT FUND: An enterprise fund to be known as the "DOCKTOWN MARINA MANAGEMENT FUND" is hereby established. All moneys received by the City of Redwood City from tenants and other sources for the operations and maintenance of the Docktown Marina shall be deposited in the DOCKTOWN MARINA MANAGEMENT FUND and shall be expended solely for the following purposes in the order set forth: (a) For the payment of utility invoices from public utility companies; (b) For the payment of license or other fees supporting access and the operations of the Marina; ATTY/ORD.385/AMENDING CHAPTER 2 ARTICLE IV ENTERPRISE FUND DOCKTOWN ORD.#2392 REV:03-OS-13 VR FORMERLY MUFF#613 Page 1 of 2
