ORDINANCE NO. 2404 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE V TO CHAPTER 2 (ADMINISTRATION) RELATING TO ACQUISITION AND DISPOSITION OF REAL PROPERTY NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. 03/24/2014 <br /> the City Council pursuant to a resolution at the time it approves <br /> a sale or other disposition of the Land; <br /> b. To control the development of the land in order to serve the <br /> interests of the City; or <br /> c. To control the development of the land in order to serve the <br /> common benefit which may include but is not limited to <br /> stimulating the growth and development of the City; to make <br /> Land available for affordable housing; to make Land available <br /> for a better or more compatible use; to diminish blight or <br /> redevelop an area; to sell the Land in order to increase City <br /> revenues; or to use the Land to accomplish an implementation <br /> of a General Plan objective, goal or policy. <br /> Section 3. The remainder of Article V (2.43 — 2.52) of the Municipal <br /> Code is reserved. <br /> Section 4. Severability. If any section, subsection, subdivision, <br /> paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance, or its application to any <br /> person or circumstance, is for any reason held to be invalid or unenforceable, <br /> such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the validity or enforceability of <br /> the remaining sections, subsections, subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, <br /> clauses or phrases of this Ordinance, or its application to any other person or <br /> circumstance. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares that <br /> it would have adopted each section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, <br /> sentence, clause or phrase hereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more <br /> other sections, subsections, subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or <br /> phrases hereof is declared invalid or unenforceable. <br /> Section 5.
