ORDINANCE NO. 2410 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING CHAPTER 41 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council adopts the following findings: A. The Federal Emergency Administration (FEMA) produces Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and manages the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), of which the City of Redwood City is a participant; and

Manufactured home chassis is supported bY reinforced piers or other <br /> foundation elements of at least epuivalent strenqth that are no less than <br /> 36 inches in heiqht above grade. <br /> Upon the completion of the structure, the elevation of the lowest floor including <br /> basement shall be certified by a registered �e#ess+e�a�-civil engineer or licensed land <br /> surveyor, and verified by the City's communitv �building �inspector to be properly <br /> elevated. Such certification and verification shall be provided to the Floodplain <br /> Administrator. <br /> Section 10. Chapter 41, Article V, new Section 41.22. is hereby added to read <br /> as follows: <br /> Sec. 41.22. STANDARDS FOR RECREATIONAL VEH/CLES <br /> A. All recreational vehicles placed in Zones A 1-30, AH. AE, V 1-30 and VE will <br /> either.• <br /> 1. Be on the site for fewer than 180 consecutive days; or <br /> 2. Be fully licensed and read fy or hi_qhwav use. A recreational vehicle <br /> is ready for highway use if it is on its wheels or jackinp svstem, is <br /> attached to the site only b�quick disconnect tvpe utilities and <br /> securitv devices, and has no permanently attached additions; or <br /> 3. Meet the permit requirements of Section 41.16 of this ordinance <br /> and the elevation and anchorinq requirements for manufactured <br /> homes in Section 41.20. <br /> 8. Recreational vehicles placed on sites within Zones V1-30, V, and VE on the <br /> community's Flood Insurance Rate Map will meet the requirements of Section <br /> 41.21(A) and Section 41.23. <br /> Section 11. Existing Chapter 41, Article V, Section 41.21. is hereby re- <br /> numbered as Chapter 41, Article IV, Section 41.23 as follows: <br /> Sec. 41.2�3.
