ORDINANCE NO. 2423 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING SECTION 27.100 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CHARGES THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 27.100 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: Section 27.100. SEWER SERVICE CHARGES: A. 06/27/2016 <br /> Effective July 1, 2018: Seventy Dollars and Forty-Two Cents <br /> ($70.42) per dwelling unit. <br /> 3. Non-Residential Customers: <br /> a. Minimum Charges: All uses other than residential uses shall <br /> pay the greater of (i) the charge calculated pursuant to <br /> subdivision 27.100(A)(3)(c) of this section, or (ii) the following <br /> minimum monthly charge: <br /> Effective August 1, 2016: Sixty-Seven Dollars and Sixty Cents <br /> ($67.60); <br /> Effective July 1, 2017: Sixty-Nine Dollars and One Cent ($69.01); <br /> Effective July 1, 2018: Seventy Dollars and Forty-Two Cents <br /> ($70.42). <br /> b. Rate Classes: For purposes of calculating the charge pursuant <br /> to subdivision 27.100(A)(3)(c) of this section, each customer <br /> shall be assigned to one of the following rate classes: <br /> Class A: All establishments used for industrial purposes <br /> including, but not limited to, manufacturing plants, processing <br /> plants, producers, laundries, photo processors, electric service <br /> institutions, packagers, and other similar classes of use. <br /> Class B: All establishments used for institutional purposes, both <br /> private and public, including schools, colleges, rest homes, clubs, <br /> public buildings, lodges, and other similar classes of use. <br /> Class C: Business establishments including, but not limited to, <br /> office buildings, warehouses, filling stations, retail stores, motels, <br /> mortuaries, fast-food establishments without on-site food <br /> preparation, markets without garbage grinders, and all other <br /> similar classes of use not hereinafter expressly described; All <br /> institutions where the sick or injured are given medical or surgical <br /> care: <br /> Class D: All establishments with mixture of one of commercial <br /> classes A through C and commercial class E, such as office <br /> buildings with food services: <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> ATTY/ORD.427/SEWER RATE ORDINANCE 2016 ORD.N0.2423 <br /> REV:06-01-16 FF MUFF N0.802 <br />
