01/09/2017 <br />Sec. 9.47. SECTION 107 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED. Section 107 of the <br />Building Code is amended to add a new Section 107.4.1 to read as follows: <br />[A] 107.4.1 All requests for information are considered revisions. All revisions shall <br />be submitted to the Building Division and are subject to additional plan review <br />fees, in an amount established by resolution of the City Council. <br />Sec. 9.48. SECTION 109 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED. Section 109 of the <br />Building Code is amended to add a new Section 109.4.1 to read as follows: <br />[A] 109.4.1 Work commenced without a permit is subject to a fee in addition to the <br />required permit fee, in an amount established by resolution of the City Council. <br />Sec. 9.49. SECTION 110 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED. Section 110 of the <br />Building Code is amended to add a new Section 110.1.1 to read as follows: <br />[A] 110.1.1 Construction on commercial projects shall be performed by an <br />appropriately California licensed contractor. <br />Sec. 9.50. SECTION 110 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED. Section 110 of the <br />Building Code is amended to add a new Section 110.1.2 to read as follows: <br />[A] 110.1.2 Hours of Construction. The arrival of workers and construction shall <br />begin no earlier than 7 AM and be complete by 8 PM of each day Monday through <br />Friday. It is prohibited for contractors to work Saturday, Sunday, or holiday periods <br />unless they first acquire a special work permit from the Building Division. The <br />Building Division determines holiday periods. Residential property owners may <br />work weekends and holidays from 9 AM to 5 PM. After hours work may be <br />performed for emergencies. <br />Sec. 9.51. SECTION 110 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED. Section 110 of the <br />Building Code is amended to add a new Section 110. 1.3 to read as follows: <br />[A] 110.1.3 Contractors shall stand their inspections by having a qualified <br />employee at the site with plans and permit ready. If an inspection is not ready, or <br />plans and permit card are not present, contractors are subject to additional <br />inspection fees, in an amount established by resolution of the City Council. Lost <br />or damaged plans or permit card shall be subject duplicate copy fees, in an <br />amount established by resolution of the City Council, and actual costs for new <br />plans or a permit card. <br />Sec. 9.52. SECTION 110 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED.
