07/23/2018 <br />or money during the delivery process shall be immediately reported <br />to the local police department where the incident occurred and a <br />cannabis manager immediately, and, if the incident did not occur <br />within the investigative jurisdiction of the Redwood City Police <br />Department, a duplicate Redwood City Police Department <br />notification will be made by calling the non -emergency citizen <br />contact dispatch center number at (650) 369-3331. <br />B. Cannabis Deliveries Originating in Redwood City. The regulations in the <br />following Subsection shall apply only to deliveries originating in Redwood City. <br />1. A cannabis business may receive orders for cannabis deliveries <br />through any technology platform owned and controlled by the <br />business, or independently approved by the Chief of Police, or his or <br />her desianee. that enables customers to arrange for or facilitate the <br />transfer of cannabis and/or cannabis products by the cannabis <br />business to registered customers. <br />2. All cannabis and cannabis product shall be placed in a secure <br />container located within the delivery vehicle. No cannabis or cannabis <br />product shall be removed from the secure container until it is being <br />transferred to the intended customer or returned to the cannabis <br />business. <br />3. All money received by the delivery driver shall be promptly stored in <br />the delivery vehicle's secure container. <br />4. The receiving customer shall sign a receipt, delivery log, or other <br />document confirming that he or she received his or her order. This can <br />be accomplished electronically or via hard copy. This becomes part of <br />the records of the delivery, and must be kept in accordance with all <br />other record keeping requirements set forth in these regulations or any <br />City Manager regulations. <br />5. Every cannabis business engaging in deliveries is required to complete <br />a daily delivery log for each delivery vehicle deployed that day and <br />maintain the delivery log in accordance with all other record keeping <br />requirements. <br />6. Every cannabis business engaging in deliveries is required to complete <br />a delivery manifest for each delivery vehicle deployed that day and <br />maintain the delivery manifest in accordance with all other record <br />keeping requirements. During delivery, a delivery manifest shall <br />accompany the driver for the duration of the delivery and shall be <br />made available upon request to the Chief of Police, or his or her <br />desionee and any other City official charged with enforcing this <br />Division. <br />7.
