ORDINANCE NO. 2184 ORDINANCE ADDING TABLE ARTICLE CHAPTER 3, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND AMENDING SECTION 3.114 OF SAID CODE, RELATING TO COMBINED AREA OF WALL SIGNS AND UNAUTHORIZED LOCATIONS OF SIGNS, RESPECTIVELY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section I. Table 1 entitled, "Combined Area of Wall Signs (Non- residential Districts), " is hereby added to Article II, Chapter 3 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, following Section 3.138 of said Code, in the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein

1/10/00 <br /> <br /> i. Freeways. No sign shall be located within six hundred and <br /> sixty (660) feet of the outer limits of the main traveled roadway <br /> of a freeway, with the exception of temporary signs, real estate <br /> signs and signs permitted under the provisions of the Freeway <br /> Overlay District (as defined and described in the Zoning <br /> Ordinance). <br /> <br /> j. General Prohibition. No sign shall be displayed or placed in a <br /> manner which impedes the movement of vehicles or <br /> pedestrians, imitates, simulates, or interferes with an official <br /> traffic sign, signal, or device; or obstructs the visibility of <br /> motorists, bicyclists, or pedestrians." <br /> <br /> Section 3.
