.... 1/10/00 <br /> <br /> ~MCT~ON 2. Section 25.1.i4 of the Code of the City of Redwood Cily is <br /> hereby amended lo read as follows: <br /> <br /> "~. (A) Except ms provided in subdivisions (B) <br /> <br /> and (C), it shall be unlav~ul for any owner or person having custody <br /> or control of any dog to permit such dog to be within or upon any <br /> park or public building in the City, whether or not such dog is <br /> properly licensed and leashed. The provisions of this Section shall <br /> not apply to guide dogs, signal dogs or service dogs as such are <br /> de§ned in Section 54.1 of the California Civi~ Code. <br /> <br /> (B) An owner or other person may cause or permit a propedy <br /> licensed dog under the continuous control of the owner or person <br /> by leash, harness, chain, or lead rope, to enter upon and remain <br /> within park areas, except (I) sports fields, (ii) recreation areas, and <br /> (iii) playground areas within which playground equipment has been <br /> installed; provided, that said owner or other person shall comply <br /> with the provisions of Section 5.6 of this Code relating to removal <br /> and disposal of animal excreta. <br /> (C) The provisions of subdivisions (A) and (B) hereof shall not apply <br /> to use of dog exercise areas expressly designated as such by the <br /> Director; provided, that said areas shall be subject to regulation as to <br /> such use as may be promulgated by the Director." <br /> <br /> 2185 <br />Ord-096 2 <br />flshlshlredwoodlcouncil <br />10/12/99; 01/10/00R <br />FXS:~g <br /> <br /> <br />
