3/25/02 <br /> O R I G I N A L <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2223 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BOARD <br /> OF ADMINISTRATION OF CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' <br /> RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That an amendment to the contract between the City <br />Council of the City of Redwood City and the Board of Administration, California <br />Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said <br />amendment being attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by such reference <br />made a part hereof as though herein set out in full. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br />authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on <br />behalf of the City Council of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days from the <br />date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration of five (5) days from the Passage <br />thereof shall be published at least once in the Independent, a newspaper of <br />general circulation published and circulated in the County of San Mateo, and <br />thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. <br /> <br />F:Atty/Ord/Ord.147 <br />030602 <br /> <br /> <br />
