07/28/2003 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION '1. That Article VII of Chapter 32 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: Article VII. UTILITY USERS TAX Sec. 32.500. SHORT TITLE: This Article shall be known as the "Utility Users Tax Ordinance of the City of Redwood City." Sec. 32.50'1 Definitions. Except where the context otherwise requires, the definitions given in this Section govern the construction of this Article: (a) "Billing Address" means the mailing address of the service user where the service supplier submits invoices or bills for payment by the customer. (b) "Charges for Mobile Telecommunications Services" has the same meaning and usage as set forth in the Mobile Telecommunications Sourcing Act (4 U.S.C. Sections 116 and 124) and the regulations thereunder." (c) "City" means the City of Redwood City. (d) "City Manager" means the City Manager of City, or his or her authorized representative. (e) "Exempt Wholesale Generator" has the same meaning as set forth in the Federal Power Act (15 U.S.C. Section 79z-§a) and regulations thereunder. (f) "Gas" means natural or manufactured gas or any alternate hydrocarbon fuel, which may be substituted therefor. (g) "Mobile Telecommunications Service" has the same meaning and usage as set forth in the Mobile Telecommunications Sourcing Act (4 U.S.C. Section 124) and the regulations thereunder. (h) "Month" means a calendar month.
