ORDINANCE NO. 2315 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27.100 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CHARGES THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOllOWS: SECTION 1. Section 27.100 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: "Section 27.100. SERVICE CHARGES: A. Established: The following charges are hereby established and levied upon each premises or any portion thereof which receives or uses sewerage service from the sewerage facilities: 1. Residential: All residential units including single-family, duplexes, multi- family dwellings or structures, and similar classes of uses: Monthly rate, effective August 27, 2007: Thirty-Five and Sixty-Six Cents ($35.66 dwelling unit

Supermarkets: Markets with garbage grinders or other mechanical <br />disposal systems in other similar classes of use: <br /> <br />Minimum monthly rate, effective August 27, 2007 Thirty-Five and Sixty-Six <br />Cents ($35.66), plus an additional monthly charge of Seven Dollars and <br />Ten Cents ($7.10) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of waste or <br />wastewater discharged or deposited into the sewerage facilities in excess <br />of one thousand (1000) cubic feet. <br /> <br />5. Institutional and Public: All establishments used for institutional <br />purposes, both private and public, including schools, colleges, rest homes, <br />clubs, public buildings, lodges, and other similar classes of use: <br /> <br />Minimum monthly rate, effective August 27, 2007: Thirty-Five and Sixty- <br />Six Cents ($35.66), plus an additional monthly charge of Two Dollars and <br />Sixty-Three Cents ($2.63) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of waste or <br />wastewater discharged or deposited into the sewerage facilities in excess <br />of one thousand (1000) cubic feet. <br /> <br />6. Hospitals: All institutions where the sick or injured are given medical or <br />surgical care: <br /> <br />Minimum monthly rate, effective August 27, 2007: Thirty-Five and Sixty- <br />Six Cents ($35.66), plus an additional monthly charge of Two Dollars and <br />Ninety-Three Cents ($2.93) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of waste or <br />wastewater discharged or deposited into the sewerage facilities in excess <br />of one thousand (1000) cubic feet. <br /> <br />7. Industrial: All establishments used for industrial purposes including, but <br />not limited to, manufacturing plants, processing plants, producers, <br />laundries, photo processors, electric service institutions, packagers, and <br />other similar classes of use: <br /> <br />Minimum monthly rate, effective August 27, 2007: Thirty-Five and Sixty- <br />Six Cents ($35.66), plus an additional monthly charge of One Dollar and <br />Ninety-Two Cents ($1.92) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of waste or <br />wastewater discharged or deposited into the sewerage facilities in excess <br />of one thousand (1000) cubic feet. <br /> <br />B.
