2016 MAY 07 1990 --------- ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE V OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING ARTICLE V (COMMENCING WITH SECTION 32.101) TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO BUSINESS LICENSE TAXES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Article V (conunencing with Section 32.101), entitled "Business Licenses", of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Article V (conunencing with Section 32.101) is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "ARTICLE V. BUSINESS LICENSES

<br /> DES:djk 1'\-1/16/90 (038/7) <br />plants used in connection with and incidental to a business <br />licensed under the provisions of this article shall not be <br />deemed to be separate places of business or branch <br />establishments." <br /> "Section 32.113. Multiple Businesses at One Location. <br />If a person engages in two or more separate businesses at <br />the same location, such person shall pay a separate and <br />distinct business license tax for each, and shall be issued <br />a separate and distinct business license, for each such <br />business. " <br /> "Section 32.114. Duplicate Licenses. Any person who <br />has been issued a business license and who has paid the <br />business license tax therefor, and whose license has been <br />lost or destroyed, may obtain a duplicate license upon <br />filing an affidavit or declaration under penalty of perjury <br />attesting to such loss or destruction, and upon paying to <br />the Director a sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars. " <br /> "Section 32.115. Nontransferability. No business <br />license issued pursuant to this article shall be <br />transferable between persons or licensees; provided, <br />however, that a license issued to a person for a business <br />conducted at one location may be transferred by that person <br />to another location in the City of Redwood City; provided, <br />further, that the address specified on the business license <br />shall be amended by the Director to reflect the new <br />location." <br /> 12 <br /> 2016 <br /> ~----"- <br />
