Description
ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.95, 39.1 AND 39.10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO REMOVAL OF ABANDONED VEHICLES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 20.95 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 20.95. (a) No person who owns or has possession, ; 'custody or control of any vehicle shall park such vehicle upon a street, alley, parking lot or highway owned or leased by, or under the vehicular regulatory jurisdiction of, the City for more than a consecutive period

<br /> DES:dft- 1/06/92 (014/10) <br />any evidence of the vehicle's registration which may be <br />available, including registration certificates, certificates <br />of title and license plates. <br /> If the administrative costs and the cost of removal <br />which are charged against the owner of a parcel of land <br />pursuant to this chapter are not paid wi thin thirty (30) <br />days of the date of the order requiring removal, or the <br />final disposition of an appeal therefrom, such costs shall <br />be assessed against the parcel of land pursuant to Section <br />38773.5 of the Government Code, or such other provision of <br />law thereto pertaining, and shall be transmitted to the tax <br />collector for collection. Said assessment shall have the <br />same priority as other city taxes." <br />SECTION 4.
