L I I J <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City and the Agency selected the development team of <br /> MidPeninsula Housing Coalition and the Raiser Organization to be the developer <br /> of the Project (the "Development Team"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency and the Development Team have negotiated an <br /> agreement entitled "Disposition and Development Agreement By and Among <br /> Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City and Mezes Court <br /> Associates, a California limited partnership and JHR Trust for the Development <br /> of Main/Middlefield Redevelopment Project," (the "DDA") pursuant to which the <br /> Agency will convey the Project Site to the Development Team, and the <br /> Development Team will construct eighty-one (81) rental units thereon, one <br /> hundred nineteen (119) parking spaces for automobiles, sixteen (16) spaces for <br /> bicycles, a child care center, and approximately 17,900 square feet of ground <br /> floor commercial retail space; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has held a duly noticed public hearing, reviewed <br /> and considered the DDA, the Tax Increment Financing Report prepared pursuant <br /> to the Health and Safety Code section 33433 (the "Report"), and the testimony <br /> received during said public hearing in accordance with said section 33433; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council finds that the Agency's acquisition of the Project Site, the <br /> raising of the several buildings preexisting on the various parcels within the <br /> Project Site, the sale of the Project Site to the Development Team, and the <br /> construction of the affordable housing, child care center, underground parking <br /> <br /> Reso-20 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
