Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br />(1) A fire or explosion; <br />(2) Obstruction of flow in, or injury to, the <br /> Sewerage Facilities, or any portion thereof; <br />(3) Danger to life or safety of persons; <br />(4 ) Conditions inhibiting or preventing the <br /> effective maintenance or operation of the <br /> Sewerage Facilities; <br />(5) Strong or offensive odors, air pollution, or <br /> any noxious, toxic, or malodorous gas or <br /> substance, or gas producing substances; <br />(6) Interference with the Wastewater treatment <br /> process, or overloading of the Sewerage <br /> Facilities, or excessive collection or <br /> treatment costs, or use of a disproportionate <br /> share of the capacity of the Sewerage <br /> Facilities; <br />(7) Interference with any Wastewater reclamation <br /> process, which does or may operate in <br /> conjunction with the Sewerage Facilities, or <br /> overloading, or a breakdown of such <br /> reclamation process, or excessive reclamation <br /> costs, or any product of the treatment <br /> process which renders such reclamation <br /> process impracticable or not feasible under <br /> normal operating conditions; <br />(8) A detrimental environmental impact, or a <br /> nuisance wherever located, or a condition <br /> unacceptable to any public agency having <br /> regulatory jurisdiction over operation of the <br /> Sewerage Facilities; <br />(9) Discoloration, or any other adverse condition <br /> in the quality of the effluent from the <br /> Sewerage Facilities such that receiving water <br /> quality requirements established by any <br /> statute, rule, regulation, ordinance, or <br /> permit condition cannot be met by the City or <br /> the Authority; <br />(10 ) Conditions at or near the Sewerage <br /> Facilities, or any portion thereof, which <br /> cause, or may cause, the City or Authority to <br /> be in violation of the Requirements of Law. <br />(11 ) Pollutants introduced into the Sewerage <br /> Facilities which pass through or interfere <br /> 13 <br />
