Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

Such approval may be withheld, <br />granted, or granted subject to such terms, conditions, <br />or requirements as Authority's Manager may reasonably <br />require in order to ensure compliance with the <br />provisions of this Chapter or Authority's Regulations, <br />or any permit issued pursuant thereto. <br /> "Section 27.32.4. Accidental Discharges. Every <br />User shall provide protective measures against <br />accidental or unauthorized discharges of prohibited <br />Wastes, Wastewater Constituents or Characteristics, or <br />volumes into the Sewerage Facilities as set forth in <br />Article II, or Authority's Regulations or as may be <br />otherwise set forth in any permit issued pursuant to <br />this Chapter or Authority's Regulations. Such measures <br />shall consist of operational or other procedures and/or <br />facilities as determined reasonably necessary or <br />appropriate by Authority's Manager. All costs of such <br />measures shall be borne by the User. <br /> Authority's Manager may specify standard <br />procedures and/or facilities for each classification of <br />User, and, to the extent so specified, he or she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to require the <br />institution and use of such procedures, and the <br />installation and construction of such facilities for <br />each such classification. Alternatively, Authority's <br />Manager may require any User to propose such procedures <br />and/or facilities, which proposals shall be submitted <br /> 37 <br />
