Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> the hereinafter specified purposes within said District <br /> only. <br /> The revenues and sums deposited in the sewer fund <br /> shall be used for the acquisition, construction and <br /> reconstruction (including the extension or replacement) <br /> of existing sewer mains, collector mains and trunk <br /> lines, and the enlargement or construction of the <br /> Sewerage Facilities, the maintenance, management, <br /> operation and repair of the Sewerage Facilities; the <br /> payment of bond interest and principal or charges due <br /> on any bond issue or other evidence of indebtedness <br /> (including facilities bonds, all or any portion of the <br /> proceeds of which are used for the aforesaid purposes); <br /> and for such other lawful purposes of the City as the <br /> Council may provide from time to time. <br /> "ARTICLE XI. ENFORCEMENT <br /> "Section 27.120. Responsibility. Except with <br /> respect to the provisions of Articles V through VI I I , <br /> (which provisions shall be enforced by City's Director <br /> or his or her designees) inclusive, the primary <br /> responsibility for enforcement of the provisions of <br /> this Chapter shall be vested in Authority's Manager, to <br /> whom the corresponding responsibility and authority is <br /> hereby delegated; provided however, that Authority's <br /> Manager shall be, and he or she hereby is, authorized <br /> and empowered to delegate his or her authority <br /> hereunder to such officers, employees or agents of <br /> 74 <br />
