Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

At the hearing the <br /> User and/or permittee, the owner of the Premises <br /> above-mentioned, and City's Director (in the case of <br /> hearings conducted by Authority's Manager) or <br /> Authority's Manager (in the case of hearings conducted <br /> by City's Director) shall be given the opportunity to <br /> be heard. Formal rules of evidence shall not be <br /> applicable, provided however, that oral and documentary <br /> evidence relevant to the issue being heard shall be <br /> received. <br /> A verbatim transcript of the record need not be <br /> prepared; provided, however, that if the User, <br /> permittee, or owner of the Premises requests a <br /> transcript, the Authority or the City, as applicable, <br /> shall cause a transcript to be prepared; provided, <br /> further, that the cost of preparing such transcript <br /> shall be borne by the party requesting it. A request <br /> for the preparation of a transcript shall be made not <br /> less than five (5) business days prior to the hearing. <br /> The requesting party shall deposit with Authority's <br /> Manager or City's Director, as applicable, the <br /> estimated cost of providing a transcript prior to <br /> commencement of the hearing.
