Description
HEADING AND SECTIONS 38.5 AND 38.14 OF CHAPTER 38 THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Article Heading of Article II of Chapter 38 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Article II. Water Service and Facilities Charges

Said fee shall be <br /> collected concurrently with the connection fees specified in <br /> Section 38.10, and shall be in addition to all other fees <br /> and charges specified in this Chapter, or otherwise provided <br /> for the use of the City's water system. <br /> The amount of the facilities fee, per equivalent <br /> dwelling unit ( , DUE I ; hereinafter defined) , effective <br /> corresponding to the dates hereinafter specified, is as <br /> follows: <br /> Effective Date <br /> 7/1/93 7/1/94 <br />Facilities $1,702 $1,787 <br />Fee, per <br />DUE <br />- <br /> " (b) Dwelling Unit Equivalent. As used in this <br /> section, I dvlelling unit equivalent' means the average <br /> consumption of water pertaining to a single family residence <br /> served by a 5/8" x 3/4" water meter, as determined by the <br /> Director of Community Development. The fee hereinabove <br /> specified shall be payable for residential use structures <br /> based upon the number of dwelling units therein, <br /> irrespective of the number of meters through which water <br /> service is provided to such units. Calculations of the <br /> amount payable for commercial, industrial, or other-use <br /> structures shall be based upon the aforesaid dwelling unit <br /> equivalent standard with reference to average consumption <br /> 4 2072 <br />
