O R D I N A N C E N O. 2079 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS, NOTES, OR REGISTERED WARRANTS ON /THE TREASURY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ANTICIPATION OF THE COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1994 - JUNE 30, 1995 THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CIT~ DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. This Council hereby finds and determines that, to meet the requirements of the City of Redwood City to satisfy obligations payable from the General Fund of the City, it is necessary that monies be borrowed by the issuance of temporary notes or other evidences of indebtedness in anticipation of the receipt of taxes, revenue and other monies to be received by the

DES:dft 6/08/94 (002/12) <br /> <br />for the Fiscal Year and the issuance and sale of such bonds, <br />notes, or registered warrants as authorized hereunder, in <br />accordance with the provisions of Article 7.6 (commencing with <br />~53850) of Chapter 4 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the <br />California Government Code, and all proceedings pertaining <br />thereto shall be conducted in accordance therewith. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into such agreement or agreements (in form <br />approved by the City Attorney) with bond counsel and financial or <br />other advisors as may be necessary or appropriate to carry out <br />the purposes of this ordinance; provided, that said agreements <br />shall be subject to approval by this Council in the event the <br />amount of compensation payable thereunder equals or exceeds the <br />amount requiring Council approval pursuant to the provisions of <br />Redwood City Code Section 2.77. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br />days after its adoption and shall be operative from and after <br />July 1, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />
