ORDINANCE NO. 2091 ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TITLE OF CHAPTER 27 AND SECTIONS 27.1, 27.101.B, AND 27.104 OF, DELETING ARTICLE VIII (SECTIONS 27.90-27.94) FROM AND ADDING SECTIONS 27.101.A.3.c AND 27.101.A.3.d TO, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE CHAPTER HEADING, CHAPTER PURPOSE, DELETION OF STORMWATER DRAINAGE PROVISIONS, AND CERTAIN FEES AND CHARGES IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF SANITARY SEWERAGE FACILITIES, RESPECTIVELY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The title to Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27. "SANITARY SEWERAGE FACILITIES". SECTION 2. Established: A facilities fee is hereby <br /> <br />established to provide for the use and <br />construction of existing and future sanitary <br />sewerage system capital facilities in accordance <br />with a capital improvements program duly approved <br />by the City Council. Said fee shall be collected <br />concurrently with the Wastewater Treatment <br />Capacity Fee specified in subdivision (A) of this <br />Section 27.101, and shall be in addition to all <br />other fees and charges specified in this Chapter <br />or otherwise provided for the use of the City's <br />Sewerage Facilities. <br /> <br /> The amount of the facilities fee (the <br />"Facilities Fee"), per equivalent dwelling unit <br />(hereinafter defined) is Nine Hundred Sixty <br />Dollars ($960.00). <br /> <br /> 2. Equivalent Dwelling Unit: The <br />Facilities Fee hereinabove established shall be <br />calculated on the basis of 'Equivalent Dwelling <br />Units' ("EDU"). One EDU shall equal 2,000 square <br />feet. <br /> <br /> (a) Multi-family Residential Structures. <br /> The amount payable for multi-family <br /> residential structures shall be <br /> determined by multiplying the <br /> above-specified amount times the number <br /> <br /> of dwelling units contained therein. 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
