ORDINANCE NO. 2102 ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, AND VIII OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; ADDING ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, AND VIII OF CHAPTER 9 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE FOLLOWING CODES: "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING SECURITY CODE, 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1994 EDITION"; AND "THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1993 EDITION" "ARTICLE IV. Deck Requirement solid sheathing. <br /> Sheathing shall be minimum 1/2" nominal thickness <br /> and conform to section 2326.12.9 of the Building <br /> Code. <br /> "Section 9.55. Section 1514, Appendix Chapter 15 of Building <br /> Code Amended: Section 1514, Appendix Chapter 15 of the Building Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 1514. General. All reroofing shall conform to the <br /> applicable provisions of Chapter 15 of the Building Code. All materials applied <br /> as roof-covering for reroofing shall have a fire retardant rating of Class A or B in <br /> accordance with U.B.C.
