- COPY <br /> SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR <br /> COLLECTION OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS <br /> <br /> This Second Amendment to the Agreement for Collection of Recyclable <br /> <br />Materials, effective as of ~ -L~ , 1996, is made between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation ("City"), and Browning-Ferris Industries of <br />California, Inc., a California Corporation ("Company"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City is a member agency of the South Bayside Transfer <br />Station Authority ("Authority"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has heretofore entered into an Agreement for collection <br />of Recyclable Materials with Company, effective August 25, 1988; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City and Company entered into a First amendment to the <br />Agreement for Collection of Recyclable Materials, effective April 26, 1994; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City and Company desire to amend the Agreement for <br />Collection of Recyclable Materials to allow for outside collection of residential <br />mixed paper and "HDPE Plastics" by Company. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The Agreement for C~llection of Recyclable materials, as previously <br />amended, (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement'), is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Section 2, "Definitions," is amended by adding to the definition of <br />"Recyclable Materials," "Mixed Paper" and "HDPE Plastics," to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
