ORDINANCE NO. 2136 URGENCY INTERIM ORDINANCE PROHIBITING DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE "TP" (TIDAL PLAIN) ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTIES LOCATED BETWEEN THE LIDO NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIFIC PLAN AREA AND BAY SLOUGH AND PROPERTIES WITHIN "AREA H" IN THE REDWOOD SHORES AREA OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: Section 1. This Council finds that: A. Pursuant to Resolution No. 12023 adopted July 26, 1993, by this Council, the Lido Neighborhood Specific Plan was adopted; B. of said Properties compatible with lands in the vicinity thereof, including the Lido <br />Area; <br /> <br /> J. Potential development of the TP Zoned Properties pose a current <br />and immediate threat to the public health, safety, or welfare, and approval of <br />additional subdivisions, use permits, variances, building permits, or any other <br />applicable entitlement for use within the TP Zoned Properties would result in that <br />threat to public health, safety, or welfare; and <br /> <br /> K. An urgency interim ordinance prohibiting development within the <br />TP Zoned Properties, enacted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code <br />Section 65858 is required in order to allow a reasonable time to study and <br />consider contemplated General Plan, Specific Plan, and zoning proposals for the <br />TP Zoned Properties. <br /> <br /> Section 2. A moratorium is hereby established upon the development of <br />property located within the TP Zoned Properties as shown on Exhibit "A" hereof. <br />From and after the date of adoption of this Ordinance and until the moratorium <br />hereby established shall expire, or be rescinded, no subdivisions, use permits, <br />variances, building permits, or any other applicable entitlement for use or <br />development of the TP Zoned Properties shall be approved or issued by or on <br />behalf of the City. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
