ORDINANCE NO. 2145 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27.100 OF, AND ADDING SECTION 27.106 TO, CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICES FEES AND PROVIDING FOR REFUNDS THEREOF, RESPECTIVELY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 27.100 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows

plants, producers, laundries, photo processors, electric service <br /> institutions, packagers, and other similar classes of use. <br /> Minimum monthly rate, effective August 6, 1998-Seventeen Dollars <br /> Twenty-five Cents ($17.25), <br /> plus an additional monthly charge of One Dollar Seventy-eight <br /> Cents ($1.78) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of waste or <br /> wastewater discharged or deposited into the sewerage facilities in <br /> excess of one thousand (1000) cubic feet. <br /> B. User Categories: The determination of the appropriate user <br /> category for a particular premises shall be made by City's Director <br /> based upon the waste or wastewater constituents or characteristics <br /> of such user, including such factors as biochemical oxygen <br /> demand, suspended solids, and volume, consistent with the <br /> categories hereinabove in subsection A established. The user <br /> category for any particular premises may be revised, changed, or <br /> redesignated by Authority's Manager with the consent of City's <br /> Director upon a determination by them that the waste or <br /> wastewater characteristics of the user of such premises have <br /> changed in such manner, or to such an extent, as to justify such <br /> reclassification. Any user, permittee, applicant, or other person <br /> aggrieved by a determination of City's Director made pursuant <br /> hereto may appeal such determination to Authority's Commission in <br /> accordance with the provisions of Section 27.130, et seq; provided, <br /> <br />Ord-032 4 <br />G:lSharedlRedwoodlCounc[I <br />DES:djk <br />06/09/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
