SECTION 2. Section 27.106 is hereby added to the Code of the City of <br /> Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> "Section 27.106. REFUNDS: <br /> <br /> Whenever the amount of any fee, service charge, interest, or penalty has <br /> been overpaid or paid more than once or has been erroneously collected <br /> or received by the City under this Chapter, said amount so collected or <br /> received may be refunded; provided, that a written claim therefor is filed <br /> with the Director of Finance within three (3) years from the date of such <br /> payment. The claim shall be made on forms furnished and approved by <br /> the Director of Finance. <br /> <br /> No refund shall be paid under the provisions of this Section unless <br /> the claimant establishes his or her right thereto supported by written <br /> records or other documents proving entitlement thereto." <br /> <br /> SECTION 3.
