Section 20.95.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. 20.95.1. OVERTIME PARKING; ISSUANCE OF CITATION; PAYMENT <br /> OF FINE: <br /> <br /> A. If a vehicle shall remain parked in a parking space beyond the <br /> parking time limit fixed for such parking space in accordance with the provisions <br /> of this Division, such vehicle shall be considered as parked overtime and beyond <br /> the period of legal parking time in that event, and the parking of a vehicle <br /> overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time in any such part of a street <br /> where parking is limited to a specific period _of time shall be a violation of this <br /> Division. . <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this Division for any <br /> person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of, or <br /> operated by such person to be parked overtime or beyond the period of legal <br /> parking time established for any parking space. <br /> <br /> B. It shall be the duty of each police officer or parking enforcement <br /> deputy to take the state vehicle license of such vehicle; the time, place, and date <br /> of such overparking; and make of such vehicle; and issue, in writing, a citation <br /> for illegal parking in the same form and subject to the same procedure provided <br /> for by the law of the State applicable to traffic violations within the City. <br /> <br /> C.
