CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> SUMMARY OF BENEFITS <br /> <br />SECTION 1 - EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Executive Management Benefits applies to the following classifications: <br /> <br />Building Official Housing and Redevelopment Director <br />City Clerk Human Resources Director <br />City Engineer Libra~' Director <br />City Manager Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director <br />Community Development Director Planning Director <br />Finance Director Police Captain <br />Financial Services Manager Police Chief <br />Fire Chief Public Works Services Director <br /> <br />Exempt at-will employees shall not serve a probationary period. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2 - EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COMPENSATION POLICY <br /> <br />It is the policy of the City of Redwood City to establish and maintain an Executive <br />Management Compensation System that will recruit and retain the best available talent for <br />classifications in Executive Management while at the same time providing incentives for <br />exceptional performance of incumbents. <br /> <br /> SECTION :} - SALARY ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br /> L SALARY PLAN ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br /> Executive Management sala~ ranges shall be reviewed annually in relationship to other <br /> comparable cities with which Redwood City is competing for Executive Management <br /> employees. Salary ranges may be adjusted based on marketplace survey data, internal <br /> relationships, City financial conditions and City Council approval. <br /> <br /> Effective October 1, 1995, each employee in Executive Management shall be eligible to <br /> receive a two percent (2%) salary plan adjustmem, with the exception oftbe Library <br /> Director which shall be eligible to receive a SLX percent (6%) salary plan adjustment. <br /> <br /> <br />
