SECTION 2. Article II to Chapter 1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby added to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "ARTICLE I1. ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES - CITATIONS <br /> <br /> Section 2.1 Applicability. <br /> <br /> (a) This article provides for administrative citations which ara in addition to all <br />other legal and equitable remedies and provides an alternative to any criminal <br />prosecutions which may be pursued by the City to address any violation of Chapters 3, <br />3A, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8A, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18A, 18B, 18C, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 28, <br />29, 33A, 34, 35, 36, 37, 43 of this code or of any regulations adopted under the <br />authority of this code. <br /> <br /> (b) Use of the remedies and procedures of this article shall be at the sole <br />discretion of the Enforcement Officers and Enforcement Officials authorized to proceed <br />under this article shall not limit or preclude the use of criminal or civil injunctive code <br />enforcement proceedings. <br /> <br /> Section 2.2.
