Description
TO ALLOW FOR EXPENDITURES COMMENCING UPON AND CONTINUING UNTIL THE 1980-81 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET SHALL HAVE BEEN ADOPTED; APPROPRIATING $1, 428, 900 FROM GENERAL FUND BALANCES AS OF JUNE 30, 1980 TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE ESTABLISHM~NT OF A "SPECIAL STATE DEFLATOR RESERVE" PROGRAM; APPROPRIATING ALL OTHER UNEXPENDED AND UNENCUMBERED FUND BALANCES AS OF JUNE 30, 1980 TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PROGRAM "RESOURCES HELD IN RESERVE"; AND APPROPRIATING ALL UNEXPENDED AND UNENCUMBERED BALANCES IN ALL OTHER FUNDS AS OF JUNE 30, 1980 TO THOSE SAME FUNDS FOR PURPOSES OF EXPENDITURE DURING SAID INTERIM PERIOD THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

<br />measure for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health and safety in order to allow the City of Redwood City <br />to continue to meet its obligations after the end of the fiscal <br />year 1979-80 and until the 1980-81 fiscal year budget is adopted. <br />Therefore, this ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon final adoption hereof; provided, however, that no section, <br />paragraph, term, clause or provision hereof shall become or be <br />operative before July 1, 1980, and the provisions hereof shall <br />remain operative only until the fiscal year 1980-81 budget <br />shall have been adopted. <br /> * * * <br /> -4- <br /> .........---... .I <br />
