JAN 26 1981 --------- - - ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.95.1 AND 20.127 OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO PARKING BAIL SCHEDULES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOHS: SECTION 1. Section 20.95.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 20.95.1. (a) If a vehicle shall remain parked in a parking space beyond the parking time limit fixed for such parking space in accordance with the provisions of this division, such vehicle shall be considered as parked overtime and beyond the period of legal parking time in that event, and the parking of a vehicle overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time in any such part of a street where

<br />of such citation, pay to the appropriate court, as a penalty <br />for and full satisfaction of such violation, the sum of Five <br />Dollars ($5.00) . The mailing, in a sealed envelope properly <br />addressed through the United States mail, of a check, money <br />order or postal order, within five (5 ) days from the time of <br />issuance of the citation, or notice of such violation or the <br />deposit with the police department of the sum of Five Dollars <br />($5.00) within such five (5) days constitutes compliance with <br />this provision. Delivery of such envelope shall be the responsi- <br />bility of such owner or operator. The failure of such owner <br />or operator to make such payment within said five (5) days <br />shall render such owner or operator subject to the penalties <br />provided for violations of the provisions of this division. <br /> " (d) Any person who shall violate any of the provisions <br />of this division and any person who aids, abets or assists <br />therein, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine <br />not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense <br />or violation, or be imprisoned for a term not exceeding sixty <br />(60) days in the county jail, or both. " <br />SECTION 2. Section 20.127 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.127. Any operator or owner of a vehicle <br />to whom a citation has been issued in accordance with the <br />preceding section may within five ( 5) days of the time of <br />the issuance of such citation, pay to the appropriate court, <br />as a penalty for and full satisfaction of such violation, <br />the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00). The mailing, in a sealed <br />envelope properly addressed through the United States mail, <br />of a check, money order or postal order, within five (5 ) <br />days from the time of issuance of the citation, or notice <br /> -2- <br /> ....... <br />
