1 8 4 9 11/S/81R AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND ADDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION; AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE "UNIFORM FIRE CODE, 1979 EDITION, " AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS AND THE WESTERN FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Article II (commencing at 12.7) of Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repea1~d. SECTION 2. <br />500 pounds of nitromethane or 1000 pounds or more of ammonia <br />nitrate, ammonia nitrate fertilizers and fertilizer mixtures <br />covered by Section 80.l06(d); or any amount of highly toxic <br />materials, pyrophoric materials, hypergolic materials, cyrogenic <br />or poisonous gases. See Article 80. <br />High-piled Combustible Stock. To use any building or portion <br />thereof exceeding 2500 square feet for the storage of high-piled <br />combustible stock. A floor plan showing the dimensions and location <br />of the stockpiles and aisles shall be submitted with applications <br />for such permits. See Article 81. <br />Junk Yards. To operate a wrecking yard, junk or waste <br />material handling plant. See Article 34. <br />Liquified Petroleum Gases. Except for portable containers <br />of less than 120 gallons water capacity to install or maintain <br />any LP gas container or operate__,any tankovéhicle which'..::ts:ùs§!d <br />for the transportation o£ LP gas. Where a single container or <br />the aggregate capacity of interconnected containers is over 120 <br />gallons water capacity, the installer shall submit plans for such <br />permits. See Article 82. <br />Lumber Yards. To store lumber in excess of 100,000 board <br /> , <br />feet. See Article 30. <br />Matches.
