<br /> The imposition of anyone penalty for any violation shall not excuse the <br /> violation or permit it to continue. Each and every day a violation shall <br /> continue shall be deemed to be a separate violation. <br /> " (b) The Chief or his authorized representatives <br /> shall enforce the provisions of the Fire Code adopted by <br /> Section 12.7 and as amended by this article and all orders, <br /> licenses, certificates, permits and plans and specifications <br /> issued or approved thereunder and shall have the authority to <br /> issue citations for violations the reof . " <br /> SECTION 3. All former ordinances or parts thereof conflicting <br /> or inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance or of the Code <br /> hereby adopted are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. If any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this <br /> ordi nance or of the Code hereby adopted should for any reason be found <br /> invalid, it is intended that all other portions of this ordinance <br /> i ndependen t of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be <br /> declared invalid shall be valid. <br /> SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the <br /> date of its adoption; provided, however, that any building or structure <br /> lawfully commenced by the completion of its foundation structure may be <br /> completed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Redwood <br /> Ci ty Code repealed by this ordinance provided that such construction is <br /> in strict compliance with such provisions. <br /> -22- <br /> - ...----".........--...-.--'... <br />
