AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AUG 2 2 1983 WITHIN GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AND FIXING AND LEVYING THE TAX RATE THEREFOR THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. General. The following general and special tax rates for General Improvement District No. 1-64 hereinafter set forth are hereby levied and fixed, for the fiscal year July 1, 1983-June 30, 1984, in the amounts set forth herein as follows, to wit: (a) One Million Three Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Eight

<br /> PGT:jr 7/28/83 <br />(b) Six Hundred Seventy-one Thousand Five Hundred Five and <br />No/IOO Dollars ($671,505.00) or the payment of principal and interest <br />on Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 Reclamation <br />Bonds, Series A, B, C, D and E, for deposit in the Redwood City <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64 Reclamation Bond <br />principal and Interest Fund, and the special tax rate therefor is <br />hereby levied and fixed at $1.6833 on each One Hundred Dollars of <br />the assessed value of all taxable land within the limits of General <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 as said District was established by <br />Resolution No. 4274 adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City on May 4, 1964, together with all territory thereafter annexed <br />thereto, as said value has been established in accordance with <br />Ordinance No. 1290, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />city on January 30, 1967. <br />SECTION 2. Repeal. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or <br />phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a Court of <br />competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect <br />the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance, and the <br />City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted said <br />ordinance and each section, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, <br />irrespective of the fact that anyone or more section, sentence, <br />clause or phrase be declared invalid. <br /> -2- <br /> .---..-> -'"'.- <br />
