ORIGINAL <br /> DES:djL ~1/16/96 (061/41) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12688 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) <br /> MINOLTA 4050 COPIER FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of one (1) copier for the Finance <br />Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minolta Business Systems of Foster City, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Minolta Business Systems for the sale of one <br />(1) Minolta 4050 Copier to the City of Redwood City in the amount <br />of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-eight and 45/100 Dollars <br />($10,778.45) computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated January 11, 1996, which bid is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />the sale of said copier to the City. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />Minolta Business Systems is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br />appropriate and necessary documents (in form approved by the City <br />Attorney) to effectuate the purchase approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
