<br /> 3/23/84 <br /> ~ <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1895 APR 1 6 1984 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING AND OPERATING ANY OR ALL <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS OF A LOCAL NATURE WITHIN THE CITY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, as <br />follows: <br /> ARTICLE 1. <br /> APPLICATION AND EFFECT <br />1.01. Short Title. This ordinance shall be cited and referred <br />to as the City of Redwood City Maintenance District Ordinance. <br />1.02. Alternative Procedures. The procedures provided in the <br />several articles hereof are alternative. <br />1. 03. Ordinance Not Exclusive. This ordinance is not exclusive, <br />but the resolution of intention in any proceedings under an act or <br />general law may provide that such act or general law is supplemented by <br />any part or parts hereof. <br />1. 04. General Law. The words "general law" or the word "act" <br />shall mean an enactment of the Legislature of the State of California. <br />Unless herein otherwise provided, said general law or act shall be as <br />now or hereafter amended or codified. <br />1.05. Owner. The word "owner" shall mean all persons owning <br />real property whose names and addresses appear as such on the last <br />equalized assessment roll or who are known to the city clerk. <br />1.06. Ordinance Superior. The provisions of this oràinance <br />shall be controlling over the provisions of any general law or act in <br />conflict herewith in any proceedings hereunder. <br />1.07. Municipal Affairs. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to <br />the municipal affairs provisions of the charter of this ci ty. In <br />proceedings had pursuant to this ordinance which are a municipal affair, <br />the general laws or acts referred to in this ordinance are deemed a part <br />hereof. <br /> 1895 <br /> .'_.-- . -_....- <br />
