ODIGIJ'\I~L HIlly 1984 --------- AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE III (COMMENCING WITH §11.70) OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE III (COMMENCING WITH §11.70) TO, CHAPTER 11 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEN. REGULATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1891 AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Article III (commencing with §11.70) of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Article III (commencing with §ll.70) is hereby added to Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows

<br /> DCB:rks 6/l9/84R <br /> DCB:sh 8/02/84R <br /> DES:sh 10/25/84R <br /> DES:sh 11/26/84R <br />thirty (30) days after the City has furnished the Grantee with a <br />written statement of such expenses. <br /> " (f) During normal business hours, the Grantee shall <br />provide prompt maintenance service to all subscribers upon <br />telephone request. Outside normal business hours, the Grantee <br />shall provide stand-by basis maintenance service. The Grantee, <br />in order to comply with such level of maintenance service, shall <br />maintain an office in sufficient proximity to the City. <br /> " (g) The Grantee shall provide to any Subdivider requesting <br />such information all necessary information to facilitate the <br />construction of a complete CATV underground system in the <br />proposed subdivision. The subdivider may incorporate such <br />information into the plans and specifications for the proposed <br />subdivision, and shall provide the Grantee the opportunity of <br />placing conduit into the streets of the proposed subdivision when <br />conduit placement occurs for other utilities. <br /> "Section 11.86. (a) Applications for a franchise hereunder <br />shall be filed with the City Clerk on a form approved by the City <br />and shall contain the following information: <br /> " (1) The name and address of the applicant. <br /> " (2) A general description of the applicant's proposed <br /> CATV operation, including a map of areas to be <br /> served. <br /> " (3) A statement or schedule in a form approved by the <br /> City of proposed subscriber's rates and charges <br /> for installation and services. A copy of the <br /> proposed service agreement form between the <br /> Grantee and its subscribers shall accompany the <br /> 15 <br /> .--.__.~..".- ~-- <br />
