ODIGIJ'\I~L HIlly 1984 --------- AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE III (COMMENCING WITH §11.70) OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE III (COMMENCING WITH §11.70) TO, CHAPTER 11 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEN. REGULATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1891 AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Article III (commencing with §11.70) of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Article III (commencing with §ll.70) is hereby added to Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows

In the event that the use of any part of a <br />CATV system is discontinued for any reason for a continuous <br />period of twelve months, or in the event any such system or <br />property has been installed in any street or public place without <br />complying with the requirements of a franchise, or such franchise <br />has been terminated, cancelled or has expired, the Grantee shall <br />promptly, following written notice, remove from the streets, <br />public places, or public property (including underground <br />installations) all such property and poles of such system other <br />than any which the Director of Public Works may permit to be <br />abandoned in such place. In the event of any such removal, the <br />Grantee shall promptly restore the street or other area from <br />which such property has been removed, to a condition satisfactory <br />to the Director of Public Works. <br /> "Section 11.79. The Grantee shall, at its expense, protect, <br />support, temporarily disconnect, relocate in the same street or <br />public place or remove from the street or public place, any <br />property of the Grantee when required by the Director of Public <br /> 9 <br /> --'~~.. <br />
