<br /> SWC:sh 12/27/84 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1908 <br /> APR 1 5 1985 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1. 7, 3.153, 5.80, 9.3, <br /> 12.21, 13.4, 20.95.1, 20.95.2 and 27.160 OF, ADDING <br /> SECTION 20.15.1 TO, AND REPEALING SECTIONS 20.128 AND <br /> 20.191 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> RELATING TO PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF SAID CODE <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 1.7 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 1.7. General Penalty; Continuing Violations. <br /> " (a) Whenever in this Code or in any other ordinance of <br />\ the City any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be <br /> unlawful or an offense, or the doing of any act is required <br /> or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful or a <br /> misdemeanor, where no specific penalty is provided therefor, <br /> the violation of any such provision of this Code or any <br /> other ordinance of the city shall be punished by a fine not <br /> exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment <br /> for a term not exceeding six (6 ) months, or by both such <br /> fine and imprisonment. <br /> .. (b) Notwithstanding subsection ( a) above, whenever in <br /> this Code or in any other ordinance of the City any act is <br /> prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an <br /> offense; or the doing of any act is required or the failure <br /> to do any act is declared to be unlawful, and such act is <br /> declared to be unlawful, and such act is declared to be an <br /> infraction, where no specific penalty is provided therefor, <br /> 1 908 <br />-... .-~....'.'-""'-"'-' ----..-.. <br />
