<br /> SWC:sh 12/27/84 <br />parking time in that event, and the parking of a vehicle <br />overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time in any <br />such part of a street where parking is limited to a specific <br />period of time shall be a violation of this division. <br /> "It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions <br />of this division for any person to cause, allow, permit or <br />suffer any vehicle registered in the name of, or operated by <br />such person to be parked overtime or beyond the period of <br />legal parking time established for any parking space. <br /> " (b) It shall be the duty of each police officer or <br />parking enforcement deputy to take the state vehicle license <br />of such vehicle; the time, place, and date of such <br />overparking; and make of such vehicle; and issue, in <br />writing, a citation for illegal parking in the same form and <br />subject to the same procedure provided for by the laws of <br />the state applicable to traffic violations within the City. <br /> " (c) Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a <br />citation has been issued in accordance with the preceding <br />subsection may, within fifteen (15) days of the time of the <br />issuance of such citation, pay to the appropriate court, as <br />a penalty for the full satisfaction of such violation, the <br />sum of five dollars ($5.00) .
