The mailing, in a sealed <br />envelope properly addressed through the United States mail, <br />of a check, money order or postal order, within fifteen (15 ) <br />days from the time of issuance of the citation, or notice of <br />such violation, or the deposit with the court of the sum of <br />ten dollars ($10.00), plus applicable surcharges, within <br />such fifteen (15) days constitutes compliance with this <br />provision. Delivery of such envelope shall be the <br />responsibility of such owner or operator. The failure of <br />such owner or operator to make such payment within said <br />fifteen (15) days shall render such owner or operator <br />subject to the penalties provided for violations of the <br />provisions of this division." <br />SECTION 9. Section 27.160 of the Redwood City Code lS <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 27.160. Misdemeanor.
