1930 MAY 5 1986 ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $120, 000 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED WATER FUND RESERVES TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUPPORT, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO FARM HILL BOULEVARD THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. The sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($120, 000.00) is hereby appropriated from unappropriated water reserves to the appropriation for Environmental Support, Capital Improvements Program for emergency repairs to Farm Hill Boulevard. SECTION 2. The abovementioned sum appropriated pursuant to Section 1 herein shall be for expenditure during the Fiscal Year

In accordance with Section 16 of the Charter of <br />the City of Redwood City, this Council hereby finds and declares <br />that the expenditure of the funds herein appropriated is <br />immediately necessary for preservation of the public safety in <br />the Farm Hill area. Farm Hill is a major thoroughfare through <br />the City of Redwood City, connecting with 1-280, and the <br />surrounding residential streets onto which traffic is currently <br />being diverted were not designed to handle such high volumes of <br />traffic. Therefore, this Council hereby ordains that this <br />ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its adoption, so <br />that repairs required to reopen Farm Hill Boulevard may be <br />completed as soon as possible. <br /> * * * <br /> I 930 <br /> --~"-,., <br />
