L9.ßJ~~ SEP 8 1986 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1938 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.130 AND 20.132.8 OF <br />CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, ORIGIN!\[ <br />RELATING TO MAXIMUM PARKING PERIODS <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> , <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.130 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood City <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.130 Maximum Parking periods and Meter <br />Rates - Generally. Pursuant to the provisions of section <br />22508 of the Vehicle Code, 'Parking meter zones, , the <br />maximum period of parking permitted within each zone and the <br />rate 0 f fees shall be established by the following sections <br />for on-street parking. Notwithstanding the establishment of <br />a general meter zone, such specific parking regulations as <br />are or, may be established pursuant to this chapter, or the <br />Vehicle Code within specific portions of any meter zone, <br />including curb markings and parking prohibitions, shall be <br />given full effect. <br /> "Meter rates shall be in effect from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 <br />P.M. of each day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays <br />unless otherwise provided." <br />SECTION 2. Section 20.132.8 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.132.8.
