--------- ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 5.6 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO ANIMAL NUISANCE CONTROL THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 5.6 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "5.6. It is unlawful and a nuisance for any owner, keeper, or other person in possession of any dog or cat to permit his or her dog or cat to discharge such animal's excreta on any public or private property within the City other than the property of the owner of such dog or cat, if such owner, keeper, or other person in possession does

Section 5.6 is hereby added to the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> "5.6. It is unlawful and a nuisance for any owner, <br />keeper, or other person in possession of any dog or cat to <br />permit his or her dog or cat to discharge such animal's <br />excreta on any public or private property within the City <br />other than the property of the owner of such dog or cat, <br />if such owner, keeper, or other person in possession does <br />not immediately after such discharge remove such excreta <br />from the public or private property, render such property in <br />a clean condition therefrom, and dispose of said excreta in <br />a safe and sanitary manner by depositing it in a closed or <br />sealed container in an appropriate sanitary receptacle. <br />Visually disabled persons who use seeing eye animals are <br />exempt from the provisions of this secti.on with respect to <br />such animals." <br />SECTION 2.
