199 k ORIGINAL FEB 2.., 1989 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 13.1 AND 13.2 OF, REPEALING AND ADDING ARTICLE IX OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE X TO CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE POSTING OF SIGNS WARNING OF THE EFFECT OF ALCOHOL DURING PREGNANCY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 13.1 of Chapter 13 of the Code of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13.I. Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to establish standards for restaurants, itinerant restaurants, mobile food vendors, caterers, food equipment

<br /> DAS:d 11/22/88 (#008/7) <br /> "Section 13.179. Penalty. Notwithstanding section <br />13.4 of this chapter, any individual, firm, partnership, <br />corporation, company, association, society, group or other <br />person or legal entity that violates, disobeys, omits, <br />neglects, or refuses to comply with this chapter shall be <br />guilty of an infraction which, upon conviction thereof, <br />shall be punishable as specified in subdivision (b) of <br />section 1.7 of this Code." <br />SECTION 5. Article X of Chapter 13 is hereby added to the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE IX. ENFORCEMENT <br /> "Section 13.175. Generally; Notification of Violation. <br />Whenever the health officer upon inspection finds a <br />violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, he or <br />she shall notify in writing the owner, his agent, or the <br />tenant, occupant, or possessor of the building, lot, <br />premises, vehicle, or other place of the specific conditions <br />constituting such violation and shall indicate the specific <br />measures necessary to abate said conditions." <br />SECTION 6.
