Public Nuisance; Injunctive Remedies. Any <br /> excessive or unreasonable noise as defined in this Chapter shall <br /> be deemed, and is hereby declared to be, a public nuisance. Such <br /> nuisance may be abated, removed, or enjoined, and damages <br /> assessed therefor, in any manner provided by law. <br /> "Section 24. 43. Remedies Cumulative. The remedies provided <br /> for in this Chapter shall be cumulative, and not exclusive, and <br /> shall be in addition to any and all of the remedies available to <br /> the City for the violation of any provision of this Chapter. " <br /> SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, <br /> subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this <br /> Ordinance, or of the Chapter of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> City added by this Ordinance, is held for any reason to be <br /> invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision <br /> shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this <br /> Ordinance or said Chapter, or any part or portion thereof. This <br /> Council hereby declares that it would have passed each section, <br /> subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence , clause or phrase of <br /> this Ordinance and the Chapter added to the Code of the City of <br /> Redwood City hereby, irrespective of the fact that any one or <br /> more sections, subsections, subdivisions, subparagraphs, <br /> sentences, clauses or phrases thereof be declared invalid. <br /> SECTION 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be <br /> effective thirty days after its adoption. <br /> 9 <br /> 1 999 <br />
