Training for Cultural, Previously Undiscovered Archaeological, and Human <br />Remains Resources — Prior to the issuance of grading permits within the plan area, <br />the City Planning, Housing, and Economic Development Department shall confirm <br />that any development applicant has required all construction crews to undergo a <br />training session to inform them of the presence and nature of federal or state -eligible <br />cultural resources and the potential for previously undiscovered archaeological <br />resources and human remains within the project area, of the laws protecting these <br />resources and associated penalties, and of the procedures to follow should they <br />discover cultural resources during project -related work. (Mitigation Measure 4.5-3b) <br />Other Agency Permits <br />66. Caltrans — If a portion of the proposed work is within the State of California right-of- <br />way (Woodside Road, EI Camino Real), the applicant shall contact the California <br />Department of Transportation (Caltrans) at (510) 286-4417 to obtain all necessary <br />Encroachment Permits. Exterior Materials — The exterior materials, colors, textures, trim elements, <br />windows and roof pitch of the project shall be consistent throughout and <br />substantially conform to the colors and plans, date received August 30, 2016, on file <br />with Planning Services. [COA][PLANNING] <br />68. Modifications - Modifications to the approved plans require Planning review and <br />approval prior to building permit issuance. Minor project modifications required to meet <br />building, fire, and safety codes at time of building permit plan check may be allowed, at <br />the City's discretion. Substantial modification of approved plans, as determined by the <br />Zoning Administrator, may be subject to an amendment or a new Permit. <br />[COA][PLANNING] <br />69. Residential Noise Notice — The applicant, property owner, or property manager <br />shall notify owners or tenants, in writing, before an owner or tenant takes residence <br />that they will be living in an urban -type environment and that they noise levels may <br />be higher than a strictly residential area. The covenants, conditions, and restrictions <br />of a residential or mixed-use project shall require that prospective residents <br />acknowledge the receipt and understanding of this information. Plan Sheet Consistency — The applicant shall provide plans that provide <br />consistency between plan sheets, including but not limited to details such as <br />proposed trees and landscape symbols, prior to issuance of building permits. <br />[COA][PLANNING] <br />71.
